Now, I'm going to tell you what my blog will be about (the title kinda gives you a hint). My blog will be about books. Since I LOVE reading, I decided to read a book and write about it in my blog. I just finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Here's a summary of it:
Harry is a young wizard who lives with his aunt and uncle. When his other aunt came to visit he got so mad at what she said about his parents (who are dead) he accidentally blew her up with his powers. He ran away and found the Knight Bus, which only wizards can see. He got on it and it took him to London, where only wizards live. He met Cornelius Fudge in a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. He also went to Diagon Alley in London to buy his school supplies for the wizard school called Hogwarts that he went to. He also bought other stuff like ice cream and toys.
He met his friends Ron and Hermione in Diagon Alley too. They all went to King's Cross together where they take the train to Hogwarts. When they arrived at Hogwarts a creature called a dementor came on the train and sucked the happiness out of everyone on it. Their new teacher, Professor Lupin, made the dementor go away. They went up to the school and had a great feast.
Harry had a fun, unusual, and scary year at Hogwarts. His friend Ron's brother gave him the Marauder's Map. It shows the whole castle and everyone in it. He used a secret passage way he found on the map to get into Hogsmeade, an all-wizard town.
He also won the Quidditch cup. Quidditch is a sport you play on flying broomsticks. It's like soccer. Harry and his friends snuck out of the castle to see the game keeper, Hagrid. But then Ron's pet rat ran across the grounds and they chased after it. Ron caught it but then a dog bit his leg and dragged him into a hole in a tree. Harry and Hermione followed him. There they met the dangerous criminal Sirius Black, a prisoner from Azkaban. They found out he was really a kind man who was Harry's Godfather. He was accused of a crime he hadn't committed. But then 100 dementors were coming near Harry, Hermione and Sirius. Sirius and Hermione had already fainted. When Harry was just about to faint he yelled, "Patronum!" and the dementors didn't attack but Harry fainted. When he woke up he was in the hospital wing and Sirius was about to be killed. Then Harry and Hermione traveled back in time and saved Sirius' life. The End
